WHAT'S REQUIRED TO REGISTER and compete?

To register and compete in HERO'S HAUL, you must have a team of 10 adults willing and able to 1) have a ton of fun, and 2) pull a full sized fire truck at least two times over the course of an afternoon.  After registering, you'll be sent a personal online fundraising page to help you and your team in your efforts to raise additional funding to help more kids. Awards will be given to teams that raise the most money.

 

where does my team fundraising money go?

All proceeds from HERO'S HAUL will help local firefighters provide brand new winter coats to children that are living in need in your city in partnership with nonprofit Operation Warm.

 

Who are the firefighters for operation warm?

Firefighters for Operation Warm are the heroes on the frontlines of Operation Warm's mission. Firefighters across the country are expanding Operation Warm's mission in the communities they protect. helping children in need in our communities across America. They not only keep our communities safe, but go beyond the call of duty to provide children living in poverty with brand new, American-made coats.  A brand new coat brings happiness and joy to a child who has so little, and goes beyond warmth.  Our firefighter partners believe the power of a brand new coat can help to increase self-esteem, school attendance and outdoor play during cold winter months.

 

who can attend?

Attendance is open to people of all ages!  HERO'S HAUL will go beyond a strength competition and include music, games, food and beer trucks.  You must be 21+ to drink.

 

 can children participate?

Only adults 18+ may participate in the HERO'S HAUL, but people of all ages are invited to attend the family friendly event! 

 

how can i help firefighters for operation warm?

All proceeds from team entrance fees will go directly to Firefighters for Operation Warm, helping children in need in the host cities.  You can also donate directly to the program here.

 

Are there refunds for team registration?

There are no refunds for teams that register to compete. All funds will go towards the Firefighters for Operation Warm coat program.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER?

HERO'S HAUL is a rain or shine event. In the case of severe weather, please visit www.firetruckpull.com.  Emails will be sent to all participants.

 

can i bring my own food & drinks?

Outside food and drinks will not be permitted, but the event will feature a variety of food and beverage vendors.

 

can i bring my pet(s)?

With the exception of service animals, pets will not be permitted to enter the event.
